Working Together

  • Monthly financial summaries via email
  • Direct text/email access for questions (24-hour response guarantee)
  • Quarterly review calls (Growth and Premium packages)
  • Bi-weekly check-ins during busy periods (Premium package)

Can I upgrade or downgrade my package?

Absolutely! You can change your package at any time based on your business needs. We’ll prorate any changes to ensure fair billing.

What accounting software do you use?

We are FOSS-first accounting specialists. Unlike traditional firms that force you into expensive, proprietary ecosystems, we specialize in Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and Plain Text Accounting (PTA).

Our preferred stack includes:

  • GnuCash: For a robust, double-entry accounting system with zero licensing fees and full data sovereignty. Perfect for small businesses who want professional features without the SaaS tax.
  • Beancount / Ledger (PTA): The gold standard for digital sovereignty. Your financial data is stored in human-readable plain text files, ensuring complete longevity, auditability, and version control (Git-ready).
  • ERPNext: For growing businesses requiring full-scale integrated resource planning without the vendor lock-in of NetSuite or SAP.

While we can assist with migrations from QuickBooks Online or Xero, our goal is to move you toward a “sovereign” financial stack where you own your data entirely.

Security & Digital Sovereignty

How do you protect my financial data?

We apply the same “Privacy-First” principles to your bookkeeping as we do to our high-security IT infrastructure:

  • End-to-End Encryption: Secure, encrypted channels for all data transfers.
  • Data Sovereignty: We prioritize systems that allow you to maintain full ownership of your financial history.
  • Zero-Knowledge Tools: Where possible, we utilize tools that ensure we only see the data necessary for reporting.
  • Hardware Hardening: Our management systems are protected by enterprise-grade hardware security.
  • Strict Confidentiality: All team members are bound by comprehensive privacy and non-disclosure agreements.

Why do you mention Open Source for finance?

Most financial software is a “black box” that harvests data for the provider. We advocate for Open Source alternatives and sovereign integrations because they offer transparency and prevent your business from being “turned off” or locked into a specific vendor’s ecosystem.

Who will have access to my books?

Only our core bookkeeping team will have access to your financial data. We never share your information with third parties without your explicit consent.
